The Ontario Liberals have moved nearly 800 amendments to Bill 5 in committee, a bit of a filibuster and in each instance declaring that special economic zones can't be used to suspend a specific Ontario law. This one made me laugh.

Liberals now say they've got 4,000 amendments on deck for Bill 5. The NDP for their part say that spamming the committee is likely to provide a gift of a kind for the govt -- they're unlikely to get to the votes that might have been most embarassing for PC MPPs to vote no on.
