Thanks for inviting me Dr Serena Repetto! It was really fun meeting the students and talking to them about how I became a physicist #WomenInSTEM

Last week I reached the first half of my PhD and I'm switching from Imperial College London to IBM Research . Thanks to everyone for making my time in London amazing! Riccardo Sapienza Tahiyat Huq Romain Tirole Dhruv Saxena Raziman T. V. #byelondon #phdlife

Congratulations to the publication of their amazing findings to Romain Tirole, my PhD supervisor Riccardo Sapienza, and others from the group!

Last day Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring meeting in San Francisco. Please join #Nele_Harnack's presentation at 11:00 SFO03.17.03. She shares her IBM Research on #Quantitative #TEMPERATURE #Measurement of Self-Heating in Non-linear Devices Using Scanning Thermal Microscopy #SThM. #S23MRS

Had such a good time yesterday representing IBM Research at Polymesse ETH Zurich and speaking to student about the research I do during my PhD

Have a look at our new paper out now! Learn about how Jakub Dranczewski optimised the fabrication process of InP microlaser structures to obtain smooth side-walls for high-quality cavities sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Join me at our stand at Great Exhibition Road Festival at Imperial College London tomorrow where you can discover all kinds of light phenomena and lasers and what we do in our research at IBM Research! Together with LondonLight Dhruv Saxena Raziman T. V. Jakub Dranczewski Riccardo Sapienza

Hi everyone, excited to present our work on time diffraction at CLEU EU today at 16:45 in room 4b, come by if you're around! I've also uploaded the slides online romaintirole.com/cleo-eu-2023/ 🙂 #CLEOEU2023 Riccardo Sapienza . Also check out Anna Fischer 's talk on Friday!

New paper from our group 🤩 "Controlling lasing around Exceptional Points in Coupled Nanolasers" arxiv.org/abs/2306.16112 you can also listen to Anna Fischer Friday 11:30 Room 14a ICM #CLEOEU2023 CORAL - Controlling Network Random Lasers on Chip

It's #NobelPrize season! 🏆 The Nobel Prize in Physics has gone to ultrafast 'attosecond' lasers that allow scientists to study the smallest particles at the very shortest timescales. Our own Imperial Physics does much of its own research using ultrafast lasers 🧵

Check out my first first-author publication on controlling lasing around exceptional points in coupled nanolasers published in npj Journals Nanophotonics yesterday. Riccardo Sapienza Raziman T. V. @KEMoselund Dhruv Saxena Jakub Dranczewski nature.com/articles/s4431…

Yesterday, I officially graduated with a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London. Grateful for everyone who supported me during this journey! Imperial College London Imperial Physics Riccardo Sapienza
