I just spoke on the House Floor to try to amend the rules to prevent any cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in Trump and Congressional Republicans's Big Ugly Bill. Republicans rejected it.

Republicans claim to be the party of God, but I can't find a psalm that says "Thou shalt make people poorer, hungrier, and sicker.” And that's exactly what their Big, Ugly Bill would do.  We'll continue to resist, obstruct, and use every tool to stop it in its tracks.
