Provocative and interesting session in the Unity Books Wellington âliving roomâ with our author Ian Harris and Bishop Richard Randerson.

Looking forward to the launch of Enough Horizon: the life and work of Blanche Baughan by Carol Markwell, tonight at GOOD BOOKS in Jessie Street, Wellington, beside Prefab, at 6pm. All welcome. Blanche was an early NZ poet, journalist, environmentalist, prison reformer.

Sad not to celebrate the launch of Isobar Precinct by Angelique Kasmara with Time Out Bookstore last night but confident we three will meet again very soon ...

Great time to hunker down with some local crime. Alyson Baker reckons The Leaning Man by Anne Harré is a goodie.

What an absolute treat! Had been on phone with Air NZ for more than four hours, but just managed to get to âBloodlinesâ (7 mins late) with the absolutely wonderful RenĂ©e and Mary M of The Cuba Press. Funny, insightful, brilliant. Nelson Arts Festival

Like @Brannavan I was thrilled with the community support for the two South Asian Voices events at the Wellington City Libraries venues. So much delight in the audience and they bought the books too! Definitely recommended to other centres.

A nefarious trio talk crime at Newtown Wellington City Libraries and launch RenĂ©eâs latest: Blood Matters on Friday 18 November. Anne HarrĂ© is author of The Leaning Man and Jennifer Lane wrote Miracles, just out.

Notables x 2! Stoked for our authors Bill Nagelkerke and Sonya Wilson and the @PublishingWhiti team that worked on The Ghost House with us, and congrats to the other fabulous eight.

Big thanks to The Cuba Press NZ Society of Authors #TheLauraSolomonTrust and Lizzie Harwood for making the launch of #BetweenTheFlags such a lovely occasion! "New & Recommended" :)

If you missed this excellent discussion with Renée Jennifer Lane Anne Harré and Louise Dowdell then you can watch it online thanks to Wellington City Libraries
