June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, a time to shine a light on an issue that affects millions but often goes unseen. Elder abuse can take many forms and the warning signs are not always obvious. Awareness is the first step toward prevention. #WEAAD

Stop #ElderAbuse. Reporting suspected abuse is the right thing to do. Adult Protective Services (APS) and Long-Term Care Ombudsman are here to help. To report suspected abuse in the community setting, call APS at 1-888-277-8366, or in long term care facilities, call 615-850-3918.
