There are 3 easy steps to becoming #BoatingWildlifeAware: See - can you spot an animal in the distance? Evaluate - how many are there, what is its direction? Act - Think speed, be steady, predictable and quiet.

Thursday’s #BoatingWildlifeAware tip: If you're heading out to a new area of water, make sure to look up the local wildlife first. Knowing their habits, like where they eat and rest, and when they're most active, can make your trip more fun and help you handle any encounters.
