Usually, this time of the year, I am using to reflect on the next projects, goals, research direction for our lab. This year, I thought to also include a review about all the events, achievements, and highlights of 2023, and compiled this collage. What a year - thanks to everyone

Our #Brain #Engineering #Award #Winners!!! Just before our spring break, we finally announced and celebrated our artists in the lab. Congratulations to: 1st: Zeynep (3 years in a row - a real #artist & #chemical #engineer & #entrepreneur!) 2nd: Mackenna, Sam, and Esther!

Our #entrepreneurial team, Esther and Zeynep, just presented their venture idea Neurofluidic Diagnostics at Destination Startup. Watch out for their in-situ monitoring approach of disease progression with a co-pathology model. We are so excited from Anja Kunze, Ph.D. that they got in.

Congratulations to our #venture team, Neurofluidic Diagnostics, for pitching at the MSU 100k Venture Competition and going home with two checks!!! Thanks to #msulaunchpad and #jabsbizschool for making this event happen.

Shout out to our #undergraduate #researchers in Anja Kunze, Ph.D. for putting in many hours to support our ideas, test new hypotheses, and help analyze large amounts of data. Celebrating their milestone and final projects at the Spring Research Symposium Montana State University Montana INBRE

And we surrounded the sun with another academic year, submitted papers, presented at conferences, taught a new cohort of #BioMEMS students #microfluidics, overcame #research and #tool challenges, and #met over delicious food many times. Next up: Finals week & summer research!
