During lockdown, our volunteers remain on-call ready to help others. However, we urge everyone to think carefully about using the coast in case you get into difficulty.

Today we remember the five brave crew members of RNLI Fraserburgh who lost their lives on this day in 1970 while rescuing a fishing vessel. In this photo by Craig Meheut from last year's ceremony, lifeboats from Peterhead, Buckie and Fraserburgh gathered to pay their respects.

Our youngest Welsh fundraising champion was 9-year-old Gruffydd Morris from Rhondda Cynnon Taff who took it upon himself to swim 3 miles, cycle 100 miles and run a marathon over a 12-week period, raising £515 in the process! #StDavidsDay

Our condolences to Our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, on the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. The Duke of Edinburgh has accompanied Her Majesty on many RNLI occasions and we thank him for his longstanding commitment to maritime services and a lifetime of support to Her Majesty

Porthcawl RNLI volunteers have laid flowers at the Samtampa memorial in Porthcawl Cemetery. 47 lives were lost in the tragedy including the 8 crew of TheMumblesRNLI which took place at Sker Point 74 years ago to this day in an exceptional storm.
