With all due respect Maggie but we don’t stand in anyones seat for “20 minutes of the first half”. In fact we don’t have 1 flag out when the game kicks off. We just stand for around 15/20 minutes before the game kicks off & put all the flags down and move out of people’s way

We have said on numerous podcasts & occasions that we know this isn’t for everyone. We totally respect that and that’s fine. However, if you don’t want us in your seat we would appreciate it if we could be spoken to respectfully and we will move. You can dislike something but

The 1878s This is fair. The two women who were holding one of the flags in GT6 were polite about standing in front of me and were happy to move if it was an issue, there wasn’t, I was happy to let them. They’re a credit to the group.

The 1878s Someone was in my seat in the paddock, was no issue whatsoever, they apologised ( needlessly) held their flag then moved before kickoff.

Tom We don’t think we’re above anyone. We aren’t expecting anyone to move at all. Unfortunately to do this we have to stand within the blocks due to health and safety. If people want us to move just ask us politely.

Tom To be honest our members spend time running round the stand asking are people ok for us to stand there, unfortunately some of the time some aren’t in the seats till 2:55 to ask them. We have a very small window to do this & the longer the time goes on the more the end fills up
