What will be the biggest story of 49ers training camp? Collins not signing? Mustapha being ready to go? Nick Martin emerging as a starting LB along side Fred Warner? #FTTB

Tom Brady won 3 SB’s in 4 years…and then he didn’t win another one for 10 years. Patrick Mahomes won 3 SB’s in 5 years… I’m interested to see how long it’ll be until he wins another one, if he ever does.

I’m at the point where, unless I see something right in front of my face, I have to question it. Between lies and AI, I don’t know how anybody can trust anything anymore. There’s just too many ways to deceive people.

Jennings has leverage. He and Pearsall are going to be asked to hold things down while Aiyuk is out. It sucks for fans with anxiety, but Jennings isn’t necessarily wrong for this.

I will say one thing I’ve always loved about Jennings is that he’s not a diva. Dude isn’t out here running his mouth on social media, riling the fan base up, and then playing dumb when everybody gets irritated. Nope, keeps his head down, mouth shut, and does his job. Dawg.

My top 5 most important games on the 49ers schedule: 1. Wk 1 @ SEA 2. Wk 5 @ LAR 3. Wk 10 vs. LAR 4. Wk 18 vs. SEA 5. Wk 7 vs. ATL Why ATL over either AZ game? Because I don’t view AZ as a playoff threat, but SF and ATL could be battling for a WC spot and the H2H could be huge.

I’m trying to decide which 49ers game to go to. My options are the Falcons game or the Bears game. Both are primetime SNF games. #FTTB

Not long ago, the 49ers were known as the team that refused to pay out large contracts to wide receivers. Now, the 49ers have gained a reputation for overpaying wideouts and getting shitty return on investment. Life comes at you fast.

SF pays Deebo, his numbers drop off, and he’s eventually traded. SF drafts Ricky Pearsall, and he gets shot prior to the start of his rookie year. SF pays BA, and he promptly nukes his knee. The Niners need SOMETHING to go right at the WR position.

The more I think about it, the more I think that the 49ers rivalry set is going to be disappointing. SF doesn’t need to do a throwback because their current set is already classic and iconic. Seems like whatever they do will be a new look, and that probably won’t go well.

Hold up….bare with me… Maybe the rivalry uniform is as simple as going back to the colors they had in the 80s. Different shade of gold, and tan (crĆØme) pants. Bring the stripes back to the socks and boom. Simple, classic, iconic. #FTTB

In 6 games against the Seahawks, Brock Purdy has 12 TDs to 3 INT. In 4 of those games, Purdy has a QBR of well over 100. The 49ers are 5-1 against the Seahawks under Purdy. The 49ers haven’t lost in SEA since Purdy became the QB. Sept. 7th cannot come soon enough. #FTTB

Tell me why the 2013 NFC Championship loss to the Seahawks bothers y’all more than then 2021 NFC Championship loss to the Rams. Was it the intensity of the SF/SEA rivalry? Did you think the SF had a better shot at winning it all in ā€˜13 as opposed to ā€˜21? I don’t get it.

JakeTheSnake (@therealmckoy85) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I’ve said this before, but I miss the simplicity with which I used to consume football. I wish I could go back 15 years, when all I cared about was rooting for my team and didn’t know or care about contracts and all the off-field bullshit. Not sure how to go back.

So what does everybody see as the logical conclusion to this 2nd round pick holdout around the league? Teams can’t cave to this, right? That sets a dangerous precedent where any dude that thinks he should have been a 1st round talent is gonna hold out. Shut it down.

The 49ers will mix it up early with their NFC West rivals. 3 of San Francisco’s first 5 games will be in division. SF can’t afford to screw around. Gotta start fast.
