3 tips for better chipping: 1) hit the shot closest to the ground whenever you can 2) as a rule of thumb: fly it 1/3 and run it 2/3 3) hit the shot your first instinct tells you to, even if that means disregarding rule 1) & 2) ☺️

Oftentimes doing less is more. Our mind likes to trick us into more problem solving, over-thinking and analyzing. But how can a busy mind focus on the target? Keep it simple, quiet and relaxed.

3 tips for lower scores: 1. Don’t rush to the course. 2. Be intentional in your warm-up and don’t strive for perfection. 3. Cultivate a clear focus over the ball with minimal technical thoughts.

4 tips for course management 1. Aim for widest part of fairway 2. front pin, choose longer club, back pin, choose shorter one 3. When in trouble, get out to avoid accumulating mistakes 4. Push your comfort zone, but when in doubt, hit the club you’re comfy with

I often get the question how I translate being artistic to playing golf. Even though in my art I am very visual & I see what I like to paint in advance, in golf I feel my shots more than I see them. Feeling how the shot comes off the club face in advance is how I create it.
