They saved his life... Dad had a collapsed lung for over a week. I'm glad I took him to the hospital. He's recovering from emergency surgery. I'm in genuine shock. Can we have some well wishes for him? He'll be monitored these next couple days.

Dad was just moved to another hospital today. He's doing much better...they are patching up the hole in his lung tonight or tomorrow and might even clear him by the weekend at the latest. No O2 tubes or IV any more. He's walking/eating/drinking...might get to drive him home soon.

**QUICK UPDATE** We are just waiting on word from the doctor...He was supposed to be discharged for real today, but the chest tube is having trouble evacuating the liquid from around the repaired lung. Damn faulty hospital equipment. Once they got it. I'll speed over so fast.
