I have some very fond (and some very hazy) memories of The Square, Harlow (I even have a portion of the stage, since they had to close). Steve Lamacq & I may have even crossed paths back in the day. A wild venue very much missed.

Wow Harlow what a night. Packed out club, those unfamiliar with our songs swept along by the devotees passionate singing. Harlow reminded me of the Port, a still growing overspill town with a rotting town centre. 14 years of Tory rule doing it’s worst. My sort of people. ❤️✊💚💙
