Proud Sun Exchange moment: Our CEO, Saul Wainwright, has won SolarQuarter Africa's Power100 Award, which honours Africa's top solar leaders. Saul joined our founding team as CFO in 2017 and in 2023 was appointed CEO to lead the company into its next strategic phase of growth.

Our first ever impact-only solar project, BuhleFarmers'Academy is one we hold near to our hearts. We are thrilled that this impactful non-profit organisation that trains, mentors, and supports new farmers, is now officially running on solar power!

Protea Heights Academy was the first WCED school to go solar with Sun Exchange in 2019. Now, PHA is taking its energy sustainability to the next level with an additional 55 kW solar and 80 kWh storage plant that is now generating clean electricity.

Good things happen when people come together to make a meaningful difference! With help from Absa, Bizweni - a on-profit organisation that offers essential services to children and adults with disabilities - now has access to clean and uninterrupted electricity.
