The WEEE Centre is currently engaged in the collection, safe disposal, and recycling of electronic waste, significantly contributing to environmental conservation and circular economy efforts in Kenya & the wider region.

Today's meeting aimed to formally introduce the WEEE Centre to the Ministry, highlighting its mandate to promote safe, sustainable e-waste management and advance circular economy practices.

They also extended an official invitation to the PS to serve as the Chief Guest at their upcoming 5th Africa International E-Waste Conference, scheduled for 16–17 October 2025, themed "Adaptation to Global E-waste Trends: Changes and Opportunities".
