A lovely group of residents on the start of the 1st year anniversary of the Wild about Worcester Way walk. - theweg.org.uk/wild-about-wor… We had a great time.

Yellow rattle, known as the meadow maker because it’s semi-parasitic on grass. Less grass = more wild flowers. We had school children collect thousands of seeds from Aconbury, Worcester last summer and our volunteers sowed them in several places, and WOW 🤩, look at the result.

Thank you to four WEG volunteers for giving so generously of their time this morning to take care of fruit trees in Old Aconbury Orchard so that we can thrive in a flourishing natural environment for generations to come.

The first two photos show young trees in Perdiswell that have been weeded and mulched by our hard working volunteers. The last two photos show trees that were planted recently that are completely overgrown and could easily die without more of you volunteering. We need you to help
