We are closely monitoring the winter storm expected to impact our area beginning Friday morning. We will send an update by mid-day tomorrow regarding Walker operations on Friday and throughout the weekend, including Open House, which is currently scheduled for Sunday.

Due to the winter weather forecast, Walker will be closed tomorrow, January 10. For the safety of our students, faculty, staff and families, all weekend events have been canceled. Additionally, the all-school Open House has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 26.

Sure, the snow outside this weekend was beautiful, but have you seen the flurry of 3D-printed snowflakes in the Lower School? The fifth-grade students used an online CAD software, Tinkercad, to design individual snowflakes. Like the real thing, each one is unique and beautiful!

Today, the New Avenues students had an awesome community day! The students participated in a community service project inspired by Walker senior Ben Blackwood's experiences volunteering at a local nursing home. The students created care packages and notes for the residents.
