Up at BATS today, we have... Lauren Duhamel (Wittrup Lab) Engineering Strategies to Modulate CD45 Signaling for Cancer Immunotherapy Kwan Yoon (Christopher Voigt) Engineering Bidirectional Plant-microbe Signaling to Combat Plant Disease be.mit.edu/news-events/ba…

Huge congrats to Dr. Anthony Tabet on a phenomenal PhD defense today. Anthony was co-advised by the Bioelectronics @ MIT and leveraged the unique skill sets of both labs to push the boundaries of cancer neuroimmunology. Excited to see what you accomplish next!

Join Koch Institute immune engineers and Ankyra Therapeutics CEO Howard Kaufman on April 4 to hear how they are taking anchored immunotherapy against solid tumors from the lab bench to the cancer clinic. Register: bit.ly/Apr2023-wis

Successfully defended my PhD in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) last week. Wouldn’t have made it through this journey without the endless support of my colleagues in Wittrup Lab and all of my friends and family. Excited for the next adventure!

SPOTLIGHT: To improve the therapeutic window of IL-2 and IL-12, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) evaluated canine-ized collagen-binding IL-2 and IL-12 in pet beagles with spontaneous soft tissue sarcomas 👉 bit.ly/3mDubkX

In other news, I’m back in NH today with my Wittrup Lab friends to run a Ragnar road race. Follow along as we run a 200 mile relay over the next 30 hours 😤😤😤

Excited to share that the second paper from my post-doc is out! This was a very fun 4-way collaboration between the Stefani Spranger, White, and Wittrup Lab labs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Garcia lab at Stanford University! A bit late sharing but excited to see my PhD work out in Nature Communications! Huge shoutout to all of my coauthors and my PhD advisor for helping get this across the finish line. Not much has changed since the preprint so I’ll link to that tweetorial below nature.com/articles/s4146…
