All set up for Gislingham Primary School year 5 this morning to look at what we grow, how, why &how it ends up on kitchen tables. Made easier by Defra UK CS scheme ED1 Janet Hughes & fits in with our LEAF LEAF Education Demonstration Farm status. Hope the ☀️ stays!

A wonderful day had by 4500 school children and one extremely special guest. A pleasure meeting HRH Duchess of Edinburgh, a lovely lady who had so much time for the children, volunteers and exhibitors she met Suffolk Show today. Thank you for making a great day so special.

It was a pleasure to welcome Adam Henson and the BBC Countryfile team to the farm to film this. We found plenty of birds thankfully & demonstrated how good Defra UK CS options inc Oakbank Game & Kings AB9 mixes & supplementary feed really deliver for farmland birds.
