Roadwork can be rewarding in surprising ways. A crew member working along I-5 in Lakewood found a kitten struggling in the heat. After searching for an owner, the crew took the pet to a shelter to get checked out, and will be adopting them. Any ideas on a name for the little one?

When there's a 70th anniversary party to be had, Theron Zahn makes sure to invite the biggest names. Mickey Mouse and Goofy joined us this morning to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort. Oh yeah, Disney provided the balloon.

Director Harold Tobin with @SeattleTimes about the ongoing EQ swarm at Mt Rainier:  seattletimes.com/seattle-news/e… It’s the biggest swarm since 2009, we’re closely monitoring the EQ activity, but we don’t see anything to elevate the level of concern about volcanic activity at this time.
