This is my friend Dr Hazel Harrison, founder of Dr. Hazel Harrison, on our Story Safari around the streets of Southwark last week. We explored her founder story, reflecting on how we can use stories to emotionally engage audiences by shining a light on our 'Why.'

I felt a little sheepish admitting to Magdalen College School staff that I had never been to Oxford. By the end of my keynote they had arranged for me to have a tour of the college and equipped me with some Oxford knowledge.🙏 Magdalen College School, Oxford Thank you.

Many thanks to everyone who attended the Autumn Meeting today! We hope it gave you some food for thought and will prove useful when you move forward with your school's wellbeing journey! Resource pack to follow tomorrow. #SoHAutumnMeeting Sue Hannam Dr. Hazel Harrison

The The Society of Heads were “early adopters” of ThinkAvellana and my mission. I really enjoyed being back with them yesterday to explore how we can create wellbeing frameworks to embed wellbeing into their unique school cultures. It was a joy spending the day with you all.

"Our instincts often steer us to love things and use people. We need to do the opposite." - Dr. Arthur Brooks Instead, let's work to this formula for happiness -

For everyone who attended #rEDOxford yesterday, you might be interested in the Oxford International Curriculum which has a whole curriculum dedicated to #wellbeing & project-based learning. A truly progressive, evidence-informed curriculum by Oxford University Press #Teachappy 😎

Excellent session this AM with Dr. Hazel Harrison re: building & maintaining personal well-being - loads of food for thought. Highlights? Role of emotions in everyday life, positivity ratio’s, importance of relationship investments, explore your strengths, keep a growth mindset!

I’m reading “The Myth of Normal” by Dr. Gabor Maté this week. Have you read it? What stayed with you? I think this quote will stay with me for a while.

🍂We've had an enlightening day at #SoHAutumnMeeting Thank you to all our wonderful members who were able to join us today! Thank you also to our brilliant Chair David Gajadharsingh and to Dr Hazel Harrison Dr. Hazel Harrison for bringing together this wonderful day of wellbeing 🎉

The school running workshops on lying for parents - stay calm, don't over-react and don't storm into school forcing your child to double down on what may not be the truth. Wise advice Magdalen College School, Oxford from Dr. Hazel Harrison and Helen Pike thetimes.co.uk/article/the-sc…
