It's not everyday that a 100-ft tall building is tested under #fire after #shaking. Thrilled to be able to collaborate with many on this project to take cold-formed steel to new heights and model the live fire tests, with support from the U.S. National Science Foundation. More info: cfs10.ucsd.edu

Chosen from 200+ submissions "Resistance models for thin-walled steel beams under non-uniform temperature using #ML" was a collaboration with Universidade Aveiro's Carlos Couto and National Institute of Standards and Technology's Qi Tong.
