Had a good conversation with some of the team from ⁦Thrive Domestic Abuse Services⁩ at the Senedd this week. Copies of their report on impact of Tata job losses on the local community were available to MSs. Great work done by all at Thrive.

We welcome action on perpetrators, but call out the lack of funding for frontline services that support women and children when they need it most. With the new VAWG strategy due in September, we urge the Government to listen, invest, and act.

We were delighted to attend the South Wales Police & Crime Commissioner Children and Young People’s Police, Crime and Justice Plan launch. This is a huge step forward, putting young voices at the heart of change, building safer communities and focusing on support, trust and early intervention.
