#BREAKING the Albanese Labor Government is extending the financial safety net for single parents. The Federal Budget will expand the access to financial support by raising the age cut-off for the Parenting Payment (Single) from 8 to 14.

Thank you Anthony Albanese for your announcement this morning you will ‘invest’ 1.9b to expand eligibility to Single Parents Pension until youngest child reached 14. You have taken up the legacy of Gough Whitlam when he introduced the Supporting Mothers Payment in 1973, changing lives. 👍
