I heard of an incident of a child with autism who cannot tell the time being told to wait 5 minutes for the toilet. When he asked if it was time, he got isolation, where he had a restricted lunch to a jacket potato, He doesn't eat jps. Is bio warfare acceptable in schools?

Will it make my child’s separation anxiety worse if I take them out of school? Several parents have told me that they’ve seen a psychologist who has advised against removing their child from school, saying that this will only increase their anxiety. I’ve seen this advice in

Many are waiting because their schools keep punishing them for arbitrary infractions and parents think this will save them from exclusion. It won't. Even though it should. How much are we willing to pay to give schools carte blanche to kick the can down the road?

Unless a child is in danger of being run over, there is never a reason for an adult in school to shout at a student. It is an abuse of power - adults wouldn't accept being shouted at in school so why do it to students?

More than 90% of children permanently excluded from primary school since Covid have Special Educational Needs. It is time to invest in their futures, not only because it’s the right thing to do morally, but because unless we do our economy will struggle for generations to come!
