I re-potted the 2 plants from last Sept.when my Dad passed away.They’re getting big/they needed a bigger pot. The one in the white pot is from my uncle, my Dad’s little brother. A student of mine gave me the 2nd one w/ a note that said-I’m sorry your Dad died. Here’s a plant.😄❤️

😆😆 Luckily, only 1 pre-planning teacher meeting has had an ice breaker activity. Thank goodness. Just tell us what we need to know and let us to prepare our classrooms for our students.

I had to put on long pajama pants- I got chilly. It has actually been on the mild/cooler side today. The AC hasn’t had to work so hard this weekend. It has been rainy and cooler.

It’s feeling like Seattle around here! It has rained all day and it only got up to 65 degrees. My parents lived in Seattle back in the late 90s and this weather reminds me of there. It’s been raining for 3 days now. Plus, my power is out. It should be back on in an hour or so. 😩

Good morning, ☀️ I’m hoping that I will see the sun again soon. It’s day 5 of constant rain here. Ugh…we are going to need an ark soon. I have my first day with my students tomorrow, so today is my last of the teacher workdays/have a training most of the day.😬 🙏🏻for sun. 😊

I basically skipped lunch today b/c I had so much to do to get ready for the first day of school. Had crackers and a diet coke and yogurt pretzels. 🤦‍♀️ So, my Mom is taking us for dinner because this is 18’s last night at home b4 she heads back to College of Charleston. I’m tired
