Am I missing something as a simple cardiac intensivist? No data on LVEF? Doesn't this represent the most plausible risk modifier; probably we expect most benefit in low lvef patients? Should have at least been balanced between groups or reported, no?

I agree that clinical signs of perfusion are crucial. What I don't get, is why there is barely a mention of CO and pulse pressure. Isn't the main thing to discriminate true low output (vti lvot, Proportional PP) from other reasons of low BP and to address the reason?
