With Clemson's loss to Louisville on Friday it means we will have different schools winning the ACC championship in football and men's basketball for the 41st straight year. Maryland is the last school to win the football and M basketball acc titles in same year, 1983-84.

While it might not seem like Clemson played well at the end of the season, the Tigers did win 9 of their last 11, the first time Clemson has done that since the 1938-39 season

Georgia Tech outscored Clemson 28-15 over the weekend but Clemson won the series 2 games to 1. Reminder me of 1960 World Series when Yankees outscored the Pirates 55-27 but lost series 4-3

CBS announced that Monday night’s men’s championship game had 18.1 million viewers, the most for a men’s final since 2019. Yet that still is less than the 2024 women’s final featuring Caitlin Clark, Iowa and South Carolina. That drew 18.9 million — with a 3 pm start time.
