Wisconsin has lost nearly 3,000 lives to opioids in just 2 years, and yet on Monday - by anonymous objection - JFC Republicans blocked $36 million in opioid settlement money to combat this crisis. Every day this money is delayed costs lives!

Vel Phillips was a trailblazer in her lifetime, shattering the glass ceiling for many women and Black Wisconsinites. Her statue is the first-ever of a Black leader to be placed on Wisconsin state capitol grounds.
