Tiger would set target scores to chase in order to keep pursuers in his shadow. I wonder if Scottie's got -21/263 in mind at this point. Would be all-time Open Championship scoring records.

Per Dan Hicks, Harris English says Scheffler "plays every round of golf like it's his last." Any competitive golfer would do well to consider that. "Fun rounds" can still have a purpose. Don't waste a single one.

Harrison Frazar getting a shoutout in Scheffler's post-round presser is candy for those of us who love to Remember Some Guys.

Anyone else have an annual tradition of going to the golf course to play or practice after The Open concludes? It’s an itch that I need to scratch even when it’s a million degrees here in Florida.

No credible Tiger-v-Scottie discussion should ignore the raw volume of players each one has beat. Tiger: 11 of first 17 wins over 100+ player fields. Scottie: 8 of first 17 wins over 100+ player fields. The closing of the Tour shop will only widen that gap.

The production team at GolfPass has an incredible library of slow-motion swings of PGA Tour pros, with legend Martin Hall standing by to break them down when they win. This one is a must-see.

If there was ever a Ryder Cup to visit from an American fan perspective, it’s this one. Barcelona will be a fantastic host city. Curious to hear about course changes coming soon. It’s already got a “Sawgrass of Europe” vibe

I'll be interested to see if some golf places buck the trend of stuffing as many creature comforts as possible into the experience in favor of a more stripped-down, analog feel. None of the items listed are bad, but some of them are bound to drive up the cost of golf.
