Back in London after a period in north Wales & Cumbria. Reunited with vinyl & straight back into gigs (health just good enough). In advance of tonight’s show at Cafe Oto I’m listening to the Necks’ albums I possess. They’re lovely, but they never compare with the live show

A friend recently mentioned having seen MJ Lenderman in the States. Reminded me how much I love this album and how frustrated I was to have missed him live (in a small London venue) last year

Still going strong at 87, this belter is Charles Lloyd all the way back in 1967. Not only still producing music, but music that’s every bit as good as it ever was. Extraordinary
