Launched in 1980, Margaret Calvert’s graphic design for the Tyne and Wear Metro is still in use across the network today, so it’s great to see her pay a visit! Whether via road, rail, air or sea, her work over six decades has helped shape the visual identity of modern Britain.

Sad, sad news that Bill Anders has died in a plane crash. One of the first three humans to escape Earth & travel to the Moon & took one of the most famous & important photographs in history, Earthrise. Never shared this 16mm image of him before, feels appropriate today. Ad Astra.
