War on the motorist? Hardly. Most of the time they’re waging war on the rest of us. My piece for the NS. newstatesman.com/comment/2023/0…

Rosebank's developer will receive an effective taxpayer subsidy worth **£3.75bn** through tax breaks and the loophole in the government’s windfall tax. But most of the oil will be exported so Rosebank will do NOTHING to lower our energy bills. It's a national scandal.

I have raised my concerns about the planned closure of the Clapham Common Post Office in Parliament. High street postal services are vital for communities. I'm working with Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, Clapham councillors & CWU to fight this. I will seek a meeting with the Minister👇🏿

#ClaphamCommon post office & CWU staff provide a vital service for local people. The strength of local public support was evident at a recent public meeting. I have written to Nick Read, Post Office Chief Exec. We are campaigning & fighting to save this essential service.

Good to speak to ITV London this week about the community campaign to save Clapham Post Office from closure. Too many vital high street services are being lost & the Govt must do more to protect them. Thanks to Clapham Cllrs, CWU and local residents for speaking up 👇🏾

We are now naming the man we want to speak in regards to the corrosive substance attack in Lambeth. If you see Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, call 999 immediately. He should NOT be approached.

I rate Emma Barnett, but if she and BBC Radio 4 Today are going to pursue this 'Keir says he's a progressive socialist, and Jeremy Corbyn says he's a socialist; what's the difference between them?' weird gotcha questioning then it's going to be a very long campaign indeed.

EXCLUSIVE The chief Treasury civil servant wrote to Labour two days ago saying that the £38 billion/£2,000 tax attack “should not be presented as having been produced by the civil service” He said he had reminded ministers of this

Tomorrow is an opportunity to inflict a historic defeat on the Tories for the damage they have done. If you live in Clapham & Brixton Hill, please vote for me so I can keep demanding real change in Parliament. #VoteLabour #GE2024 #Clapham #BrixtonHill

Sunder Katwala Compare Lee Anderson's response when protestors torched a police van outside an asylum centre in Knowsley last year. He was rather more "namby-pamby" himself on that occasion.

I repeat: Owning things is not the same as work. Taxing the income of owning things is not the same as taxing the income of work. This really shouldn't be hard.
