At #GPDRR2025 today, UNOPS Tim Lardner highlighted our commitment to building long-term resilience for future generations. He emphasized a risk-informed approach to infrastructure, showcasing how we leverage innovative tech for rapid risk analysis in #Gaza, #Syria & #Ukraine.

Excited to see the launch of our new regional project, #BlueingTheBlackSea, with World Bank Europe and Central Asia and Global Environment Facility (GEF). Bringing together key stakeholders from Türkiye, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, we will work to find and implement innovative solutions to curb marine pollution.

Another milestone for UNOPS and Denmark in Ukraine, with 19 more residential buildings repaired. Housing is key for recovery, so this work is crucial.

#EU4Culture is an amazing project in Albania, renovating cultural heritage sites after the 2019 earthquake. Yesterday, Commissioner Glenn Micallef joined colleagues on the ground to inaugurate the restored Kinostudio and strengthened Film Archive. More: eu4culture.al

The UNOPS team in Montenegro supported a study that looks at the eGovernment and eServices ecosystem at community level, identifying key gaps and potential interventions. A great product, and I'm sure a strong foundation for further work.
