We had another big surprise in nursery today! 😯 Another dinosaur has visited and he left us some different eggs to explore today! 🦖🦖🥚🥚 We put the different coloured eggs in the bowl and covered them with water! 🥚🥚🥚💧💧💧 We noticed the eggs have started to crack! 🤩

More excitement in Moonstones (FS1) today! 😆 We checked on the eggs and we noticed that they have started hatching! 🐣🐣 We used tweezers to lift the dinosaurs from the bowl and then we measured them! 📏 We put the dinosaurs in clean water so we can watch them growing! 🥚🐣🦖

We have enjoyed being active again this week in Moonstones (FS1)! 🏃🤸‍♂️ We've practised balancing and ball skills and moved in different directions! 🎾⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ We became the participants in an active story where we became rabbits hopping away from a fox and a crocodile! 🐰🦊🐊

We baked dinosaur-shaped biscuits in Moonstones (FS1) today and ate them for snack! 🍪😋 Well done, everyone! ✨ We wondered if the dinosaur might smell the biscuits baking and come and visit us for snack... 🤔🦖

There was another dinosaur surprise in nursery today! 😯 The dinosaur returned and he left us some other eggs to explore today! 🦖🦖🥚🥚⛏️🔨🧹 We were totally engrossed in our excavation investigations today as we set out to free the mini dinosaurs from the eggs! 🥚🥚🥚🤩

This week in Moonstones (FS1) we created more dinosaurs, enjoyed being active and practising our ball skills! 🦖We sorted all the different coloured balls into the corresponding hoops! ⚽️⭕️ We explored the parachute on the playground on the roof! Happy holidays to everyone! 😎

On Monday I saw our fantastic supervised toothbrushing programme for 3-5 year olds in action in Sheffield. With 2 million products already delivered, our partnership with Colgate-Palmolive will benefit 600,000 kids this year by building good habits and improving dental health 🦷

Lovely to see impact of supervised toothbrushing Tinsley Meadows primary in #Sheffield. As part of our Plan for Change, the scheme will reinforce good habits, reduce health inequalities, and save NHS up to £34,000,000 by tackling disturbing levels of tooth decay among children.

Supervised toothbrushing 🦷 is an evidence based intervention 🦷 which delivers return on investment 🦷 establishes positive behaviours that continue at home 🦷 is about working in partnership with parents ❤️Children’s oral health is everybody’s business ❤️
