🍽🍽Y6 Come Dine With Me – Episode 1 -Starters 🍽🍽 Year 6 enjoyed their first course in their Come Dine with Me experience, featuring the hero ingredient: bell peppers. Delicious! 🤤😋 Elliot Foundation
🎅🏼🎅🏼 Santa Dash 🎅🏼🎅🏼 Last week Tiverton Academy took part in the annual Santa Dash around our playground. We joined thousands of other children participating in this event and having fun whilst being active! BournvilleSGO - Gemma Taylor-Whitehead
✨💫 Wizard of Oz 💫✨ We love this time of year because the end of the autumn term means that it is time for our annual Christmas theatre trip. This year was no exception as we all travelled by train to watch The Wizard of Oz. It was magical and enjoyed by all! Elliot Foundation

🎨🎨 Year 1 art 🎨🎨 Year 1 have been exploring and this week they have identified primary colours. They then experimented and mixed different mediums to create secondary colours. Great work 🤩 Elliot Foundation
In Year 6 this week, we launched our new value “Community” by thinking about how we can make an impact on all the communities we are part of for, both the people and the place itself. Here are our targets to become more proactive members of our community 🤩 Elliot Foundation
☃️☃️ Melted snowmen ☃️☃️ As apart of their Cold and Hot topic Reception have been creating their own melted snowmen. They used shaving foam to make the paint puffy and some of their snowmen melted because they had drank a hot chocolate 😅 Elliot Foundation
🧑🔬👩🔬 Year 1 science 👩🔬🧑🔬 As apart of Year 1’s Science topic they are drawing and naming parts of the human body. They incorporated their segmenting and blending from phonics with their words. Well done 🤗🤩 Elliot Foundation
🎨👩🎨 Mixing secondary colours 👩🎨🎨 Year 2 they have been developing their knowledge of colour mixing. They have looked at what happens when they mix two secondary colours together and the choices they make to either make them lighter or darker Elliot Foundation
✏️🔌 Structures and electrical systems 🔌✏️ Year 6 have started a new structures and electrical systems project this week. Once completed they will have designed and made their own steady-hand games, including buzzers and possibly a light. Watch this space… Elliot Foundation

🇨🇳🐍Celebrating Lunar New Year 🐍🇨🇳 To celebrate Lunar New Year Reception painted some beautiful paper lanterns in the lucky colour red, wrote their names in Chinese writing and even made some Chinese dragons. How amazing 🤩 Elliot Foundation
