My deepest condolences to Save the Children International & World Central Kitchen who are mourning colleagues killed in recent days, and to all in our community who have lost friends and colleagues during what has already been the deadliest year for aid workers.

Glad to see new funds committed to Sudan by the US government this week. 30 million people will need humanitarian assistance in Sudan in 2025 - 5 million more than this year as conflict grinds on. Global funding is nowhere near where it needs to be to meet the staggering needs.
