Of course some find great benefit from therapy. This isn’t a dis against therapy. Just a recognition that if one cannot find a thing, like a successful artist does, to dive headlong into each and every day, one is more likely to need therapy: to help them find it.

Matjaž Leonardis I'd say some theory is inspired by practice, but the best theory is inspired by problems in existing theory. I guess Darwin's story of being inspired by finches' beaks is confabulation. He was inspired by the same problem that had inspired his grandfather who never went to sea.

For each "criticism" of the multiverse there is an exact logicial counterpart among "criticisms" of evolution. In this case, that postulating the existence of billions of years in the past is extravagant compared with 6,000. Nobody ever observed those billions.
