A paper from former PhD student Nancy Elbaz's work has been published in Food Hydrocolloids, showing the potential of layer-by-layer modification on a nanosuspension to influence the drug release behaviour of the nanoparticles. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Another paper by former PhD student Heba Elkateb is out now. Her research on high drug loading lipid-based nanoparticles in JCIS Open showcases the use of a nanoprecipitation method to produce SLNs, NLCs, and nanoemulsions with high drug loadings. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Edyta (Edyta Niezabitowska) and Dom's (Dominic Gray) paper on the using asymmetric flow field flow fractionation (AF4) to characterise the degradation of core-shell nanogels is now available. AF4 is a very useful for looking at nanoparticle degradation behaviour. mdpi.com/2079-4983/14/7…

In Andy's (Andy McLauchlin) paper, in collaboration with Unilever, we explore boosting post-consumer resin (PCR) in rigid packaging. We show that by using informed blending approaches can provide significant improvements in the bottle properties of PCR. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

New paper out in Journal of Materials Chemistry B. We developed FRET-enabled lipid nanoparticles that allow real-time tracking of nanoparticle integrity, revealing distinct dissolution stages. This approach provides valuable insights for drug delivery. pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
