Final word on UW game: I just watched MD do the exact thing Gard did on the final poss- put it in the best player’s hands. I just saw the greatest hockey coach in the game win a Natty by asking his players ā€œwho wants itā€ for a crucial pen shot. Good choices all, ours just missed

Two great seasons, two wildly different endings — #Badgers men’s basketball and women’s hockey. That’s sports. Mike Lucas and I discuss both on The Wisconsin Sporrscast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bad…

John Blackwell and Nolan Winter are navigating a way different college basketball landscape than their fathers, both of whom played in the Big Ten. I spoke with all 4 of them and got some tremendous insight. You may even find their perspectives refreshing: badgerextra.com/commentary/col…

All No. 1 seeds in NCAA Final Four? A dearth of upsets? Signs of the times. Unless transfer portal and NIL rules are tweaked, get used to the rich getting richer and everyone else playing for table scraps. Luke and I discuss on The Wisconsin Sportscast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bre…

If you only read one thing today, make sure it’s Jimmy’s story on Howard Moore Jr.’s wonderful parents and their tireless dedication to their son and grandson. #Wisconsin #Badgers

I broke down the #Badgers QBs at the midpoint of spring practices. Billy Edwards Jr. is the clear No. 1 and looks like a good fit in this system. Couple things to work on, though. Also thoughts on O'Neil's slow start and Smith's big arm. badgerextra.com/sports/footbal…

Duke’s youth and Houston’s lack depth led to epic meltdowns in the Final Four, but the biggest story for #Badgers fans this week was Greg Gard’s work in the transfer portal. Luke and I discuss on The Wisconsin Sportscast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the…

There are 257 selections in the 2025 NFL draft. Value can be found throughout all seven rounds. Here is the NFL's all-time greatest draft, identifying the best player selected at each of those 257 draft slots in league history. rickgosselin.com/the-greatest-d…

Been watching Haliburton since his high school days. He’s a winner. Not the least bit surprised most NBA players don’t understand the concept of a winning player.

First round looks like a typical #Packers draft. Picking in the 20s, fans want a WR, they’ll probably take a DL or CB. At least that’s what I’m going with until Gutey proves otherwise. Luke and I discuss all things NFL draft on The Wisconsin Sportscast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the…

Wow. Congrats to Chimere Dike, former #Badgers WR who was the first pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft. Not many saw that coming. Tested really well, though.

Great to see Jerry Kelly back in the winner’s circle on the PGA Tour Champions. His 13th victory on the senior tour.

Mike Lucas says it’s time for the Bucks to fire Doc Rivers. I say, why stop there? Oh, and we also dissect the Packers/NFL draft on The Wisconsin Sportscast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/nfl…

Deeply saddened at the passing of the great Jerry Petitgoue of Cuba City. His 1,027-270 record made him the winningest coach in Wisconsin prep basketball history. Best thing about Jerry was he had many more wins off the court than on it. My heart goes out to Joan and the family.

Now that the judge has OK’d House settlement on college athletics, the real, um, fun starts. Somewhere St. Ives is smiling. He’s the patron saint of lawyers. Luke and I discuss on The Wisconsin Sportscast. Also Jaire Alexander, Jerry Petitgoue, others. captimes.com/sports/wiscons…
