New: The Post Office Inquiry will publish its first report this summer: It will focus on compensation and human impact. Doesn’t bode well for the main part of Sir Wyn’s report - been hearing it may not even be this year which would also delay police action.

Important decision on right to roam - Landowner couple claimed tents damaged the land and upset livestock - which the judges dismissed. Great victory for campaigners which will hopefully help protect rights for hikers (and campers) in future across the UK.

This is an astonishing planning rejection in Brixton by Lambeth Council Officers rejected this application for an entirely bog-standard mansard *because* the area has "low-scale character" & would be "bulky and overly dominant" The house isn't listed or in a conservation area

Interesting - average house prices in London were the same in 2016, as they are in 2025. 🏘️ Flat over nine years at £552,000 (from UK House Price Index). In that time wages and prices (and no doubt rents) have risen by a third.
