really nice analysis with a depressing result. it will be interesting to see whether the the 'missing' positions are/were just postponed (full recovery), or whether they will be scrapped altogether (incomplete recovery).

a hidden gem: Francesca Delogu et al. 2017 sciencedirect.com/science/articl… they revisit coercion & show that the phenomenon is more complex than initially portrayed. in terms of methodology, the paper is top notch. & I like how they do justice to a linguistic reality that can be quite complex
