Ali, Jazmin, Robert and Maja from Y10 entered a STEM challenge earlier this term to think about space junk & how we can look to potentially manage this problem in the future. They scored an amazing 70% from the judges and received some fabulous feedback. #stemchallenge #spacejunk

Cadets Summer Residential, Otterburn, Northumberland. Our cadets are off! Day 1-left camp for a night in the field. The cadets have built bashers & enjoyed lunch from a 24hour ration pack. Day 2-the cadets split into 2 groups & went on an ambush with a platoon from London!

Star Track & Field Athletics Competition in Rosendale. We had dozens of podium finishes & awesome performances. The most impressive team performance of the day came from our Y9 Boys' team who won the team competition, followed by the Y9 girls who finished in bronze position.

Fourteen of our fabulous Year 10 students are at the Bradford Literature Festival today listening to expert speakers discussing the history of Civil Rights and hearing new perspectives about issues that's still exist today. #history #civilrights #wearestar

Cadets...day 3 On the ranges - the cadets have had a great day shooting on different ranges & taking part in team building command tasks. This evening we have had the privilege of awarding promotions to a number of cadets for their outstanding achievements. Well done all! #cadets

Cadets Day 4...On the ranges using the electronic range, laser pigeon shooting where Denis won the prize for the highest score & air rifles range. Our very own Maria won the prize for the highest accuracy using an air rifle against Yarm school and John Lyon's in London.

We've had two fantastic days of English end-of-year reward trips. On Tuesday, Y9 braved the thrills and history of York Dungeon, while Wednesday morning Y7 enjoyed the amazing wildlife at Tropical World in Leeds. Well done to each pupil for earning their place. #rewards
