Today I hosted Refugee-Led Organisations Refugee Coalition for Climate Action (RCCA) TONGOGARA REFUGEE SPORTS ORGANISATION - TRSO TWEENS Tongogara Transformation Innovation Hub where they presented their 2025 strategic focus. RLOs are complementing the GoZ and partners in the areas of climate action, sports, education and social enterprises.

It is a great pleasure to inform you that TWEENS is offering free holiday lessons to O-Level students. We are excited to provide space and academic support for many children in the community and an easier road to academic excellence, hence preparing them for the new term.

In line with our mission of empowering underprivileged students through education and community engagement, TWEENS conducted several activities during the April 2025 holiday, including lessons, information sessions, and some extra-curricular activities.

We have embarked on a six-month journey on basic computer and Digital skills to empower young people, not only through education, but as an initiative for hope, opportunity, and empowerment toward changing lives and building a stronger community.

In commemorating Menstrual Hygiene Day, TWEENS donated sanitary pads, exercise books, pens, and solar lights to female students at St. Michael's Secondary School, making them have access to clean materials and facilities.

On July 3, 2025, TWEENS closed a chapter that meant a lot in empowering non-privileged students at Tongogara through the US Embassy Julia Taft Grant. TWEENS responded to an educational crisis when scholarships dried up and refugee youth were left without a path beyond O-Level.

On Sunday, 6 July 2025, TWEENS received the delegation from the Embassy of France, led by Mr Julien OUVRARD- Secretary General and Vice-Consul, and the European Union's Maximilian KRIZ-Political Officer, who were on a familiarisation tour of Tongogara Refugee Settlement.
