Hey Folks, a post in the public interest: DO NOT WATCH Insiders on Sunday. The Panel: Jacob Greber, Clare Armstrong & Matthew Knott. Speers is talking to Tim Wilson YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Extraordinary that journalists publicly commenting on Gaza have only just discovered that Hamas has political, charitable, administrative and militant wings across the Levant: how about doing some research first! Meanwhile, Speers' final comment (defending his guests) is simply

Australia’s biggest miners have pocketed almost $60BN in diesel tax subsidies in <20 years. Unless we act, taxpayers lose $84BN more by 2030. It makes no sense for 🇦🇺ns to pay tax while coal giants get a free pass. End this fossil fuel subsidy now. afr.com/companies/mini…

While I'm discussing miners, their biggest PR coup was getting governments to call resource rents and royalties 'taxes', rather than 'raw material costs'. If a flour mill bought wheat from a hypothetical government farm, it'd be a raw material cost. It's the same for resources.

Julian Leeser refuses to go beyond muted, weak criticism of the Netanyahu govt. Running the Israeli govt talking points and ignoring the genocide in Gaza is despicable. He is biased, one eyed and has no credibility. Coalition incapable of opposing Israeli war crimes. #Insiders

Good show but fancy asking Bookshelves Brandis for an opinion on Albo/Trump. A dolly serve inviting him to slam Albo's diplomacy which he duly took. Episode webpage: abc.net.au/listen/program… Media file: …diacore-live-production.akamaized.net/audio/02/co/Z/…

I have criticized legal academics who imagine that naïve and inexperienced self-represented litigants would adopt pseudolaw in good faith, not realizing these ideas were not-law. So it’s only fair I acknowledge the appearance of an actual “accidental pseudolaw litigant”.

This is another governance scandal masquerading as a poor supervision scandal. Redirect this squarely at the Co’s board of directors for allowing this through their focus on profit & bonuses for lifting child attendance rates. #corpgov theage.com.au/national/child…
