A sad time this morning as our Y13s took part in their last ever whole school assembly 😭 but they didn't go quietly as you'll see in the video that follows... Also awards, gymnastics & dance displays, the induction of our new Heads of Omanyo House & the big house point reveal 🐰

Welcome back to the summer term and undoubtedly the busiest time of year. Thankfully, our site team have provided more outdoor seating over the holidays, so students can take a break from all the fun and events! Until the canopy is built, students can enjoy the sun & seagulls 😎

What a brave, talented bunch they are....... those staff of ours! It was staff karaoke fun in the Old Hall at lunchtime today - £1 for students to laugh non-stop, hear some of the worst singing ever and all proceeds towards the Year 11 prom! Here's the lovely Ms West🀣(sorry Amy)

On the night of Thursday 3rd April, the door to the Pavilion was left open for DofE students, camping on site, to use the facilities. The following morning, a crime scene was discovered. Mr Fox has been let off following CCTV footage of the culprits - the badger bin raiders! 🀣🦑

Miss Medhurst was overjoyed to receive a cake from her year 11 students today (it's their final day), decorated with her three favourite things - Jimmy Carter, Diet Coke and Taylor Swift (plus a picture of the students who also wrote 'sorry for talking so much') πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

There was an amazing turnout at the Holocaust witness talk yesterday. Judith Hayman spoke to students about her family’s persecution when the Nazis took over Austria in 1938, how her mother escaped to England and many of her relatives died in death camps πŸ˜ͺ Arranged by our Y12!

A level Religious Studies students celebrated their final philosophy lesson with a philosophers’ tea party. Each student came as a different philosopher with a clue for to guess their identity. Needless to say, they did an amazing job; the RS team will miss them πŸ₯Ή Good luck🀞

Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the Y13 leavers Dartington Celebration Evening last night. This year group have already made their mark in assemblies by being the loudest and proudest year group ever when singing the School Song; here they are singing the best and final verse 😍

Well, what a Ten Tors weekend it was with all five of our teams crossing the line, albeit depleted in some cases. Our 55 mile team, in collaboration with Honiton CC absolutely stormed it, to finish at 1.30pm, followed by our three 35 mile teams and then our 45s. Well done all !

Well, our year 9s made it to their residential and no doubt, having had a hearty brekkie this morning, they are now fully ensconced in their exciting activities, whether that be hanging by a cable on the high ropes or shooting each other with lasers ! We're not at all jealousπŸ€₯

It's time for the grand unveiling of our new Omanyo House flag! The original drawing has been skillfully and painstakingly converted into a format ready for printing. Liz Temperton in our reprographics office spent about 3 days drawing the elephant, the symbols & the letters! πŸ‘
