#Torquay neighbourhood officers are out on patrol in their red zone areas this morning. Some of these zones include Castle Circus and Factory Row in the town centre.

Torquay NHT made 3 arrests whilst on their patrol in the town centre today. One for shoplifting, one for drunk and disorderly and another prolific offender for several offences. The prolific offender is being remanded for court tomorrow. The other two were charged and cautioned!

Officers arrested a female today in the Town Centre that was wanted on warrant. She will be bedded down for the night and put before the court tomorrow for shoplifting offences.

On Tuesday 09th of December POLICE established a ‘scene guard’ at Castle Circus in Torquay. While officers were on scene, they had the opportunity to talk to members of the public about their concerns. The scene has now been removed, and the area will be open as usual. #PC19117

This morning we walked through Castle Circus with Alison Hernandez as part of the #StreetFocusTorquay project. Lots of discussions and great ideas were shared. This is very much a long term problem which won’t just be solved over night, but we’re heading in the right direction.

Today, our officers acted on community intelligence and executed a warrant at a property under the Misuse of Drugs Act where a quantity of suspected Class A drugs were located and seized. One male is now in police custody. ^2307 #NeighbourhoodSupportTeam
