🔵 PE fun Before half term some of Pre-school and KS2 joined together for a PE session. From a few games of 'duck, duck, goose' to activities that the older ones helped organise, a fun time was had by all and our 'Friendship' value was clear for all to see.

We have been chosen by Tesco Stronger Starts for some fundraising. We are hoping to raise funds for our pre-school garden & would appreciate if you could share this with everyone you know so we can get as many blue tokens as possible - as they say - "every little helps!" July-Sep

Y1&2 had a fantastic time last Thursday at MK Museum. They were all respectful & engaged throughout. We learnt how the Victorians used to live. We played with some old toys & discussed what materials they were made of & we found out about how they used to cook & entertain at home

On Thank a Teacher Day, we would like to say a big thank you to our teaching staff for all they've done to support, educate & care for children over the past year. It isn't just teachers either, we can recognise everyone for their role in helping children to thrive.

A huge thank you to our Aspens team in the kitchen, working hard especially in this heat. Today was a special themed day with some amazing artistic food for all those having school dinners to enjoy.

What an amazing sports day we have had! Thank you to all the parents & carers who were there to celebrate with us. Each child today should be super proud of themselves - we are! Congratulations to WATER and to all the houses. Hope you now all have a restful weekend.

KS2 performed to families & tour school with their production 'The Pirates of the Curry Bean'. With quick witted lines, lots of laughter & amazing singing as the pirates navigated themselves across our stage. Thanks to the staff involved for support,this show was a huge success.

As part of the Archbishop of York Youth Trust's Young Leaders Award, Y6 went on a litter pick. They felt lucky that our village is tidy, but there was more litter than they thought. We have finished the award, where the children have had to, 'be the change you want to see'.

Wow, what an amazing year we have had. It has been crammed with learning, visits, sports events, residentials & performances; to name just a few things that have filled our 2024/25 school year. We wish you all a safe, sunny and spectacular summer break.
