Absolutely as @GauldHead says. Unfunded rises can’t be announced by the DfE as that just puts schools in the hideous position of trying to cut staff and services to afford them. It’s not complicated. Funded, fair pay for school staff is all that is being asked for.

I know there are those who say “him again” 😂 But PLEASE Headteachers/CEOs - look at funding for your EHCPs: challenge LAs hard. I know/am working with so many schools & trusts who have drawn the line in the sand & said ‘enough’! LAs are openly defying funding law. Challenge!
