Brightwood Park will re-open today at 12:00 PM, following a precautionary measure to close it for several days due to unusual coyote behavior reported by several residents. There is currently no evidence of rabid animal behavior in the park. Full details: local.nixle.com/alert/10184551/

You can now bring your extra reusable bags to the Conservation Center! The Town is partnering with the Union County Bureau of Recycling & Planning and GOATote, Inc. to collect these bags, which will be laundered/sanitized and delivered to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

On Thursday at 6:00 PM, the Westfield Public Arts Commission will unveil its Third Annual Through the Lens Photography Exhibit, which showcases 60 photos reflecting this year’s theme of Motion. The exhibit is partially funded by Sold Sisters - Keller Williams Realty.

PAVING UPDATE: AUGUST 7 Elizabethtown Gas' paving contractor, Atlantic Infrastructure, expects to begin road milling work on Breeze Knoll (entire length) and Lawrence Ave (Roanoke Rd to Walnut St) on Wednesday, August 9, with paving anticipated to start on Friday, August 11.
